Okay. So it’s week two. The END of week two. That feels so weird to say. I’ve seen traction on the blog. People are responding to what I write on here. I haven’t had any luck on the actual story itself. I have 27 episodes up. I actually took the time to write some additional chapters JUST to see if that would make a difference. That said, it’s too soon to tell. Everything is too soon to tell. Which is what makes it hard.
The other thing is, I don’t think that anyone else is either. At least as far as I know. A brand new platform. I haven’t heard of anyone being like wowed by their numbers or anything. Or kindle vella making waves in the media. Which I guess is both a good and a bad thing. Everyone else is in the same boat.
Still no reviews or reads. Its a little disheartening, especially since on Dreame I usually have at least A FEW reads after a few chapters. I don’t know if it is lack of awareness. Or what.
But things I’m keeping in mind:
1. This is the first book I’ve uploaded.
2. The service has only been around for two weeks.
3. I’ve still got time.
4. I’m still learning about the app.
I hope everyone else keeps this in mind too if they are disappointed with their results. The beginning stages of anything are never going to be that exciting.
So there’s nothing to do but to just keep swimming, just keep swimming as Dory would say.
