Melissa & Joey is an ABC Family/Free Form television show that premiered back in August 17th, 2010. Starring Melissa Joan Hart of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Melissa Explains It All, she pairs with Joey Lawrence of Brotherly Love.
Hart stars as Mel Burke, a successful City Council Woman in the city of Toledo who comes from a rich, political family. When her sister and her sisters husband commit fraud, Mel finds herself stuck raising her teenage niece and nephew Lennox and Ryder.
Finding herself overwhelmed with work and parenting, Mel is desperate for a nanny. Unable to find one, Mel winds up hiring the last person she ever expected to: Joe Longo, a disgraced commodities trader from her brother-in-laws world who lost his fortune due to his ponzi scheme.
The two have a delightful will-they-won’t-they banter as they play house without “playing house”. Cute, easy to watch, and good for a laugh it is a fun binge.
